This new online casino is owned by a company called the Betit Group and in addition to Quickfire software, it will also be using games supplied by other top software providers such as NetEntertainment (NetEnt), Play ’n Go and SkillOnNet.

“As a start-up company it was essential for us to partner with the best and most experienced of game providers; Quickfire certainly ticked all of the boxes in terms of what we required. From signing to integration, testing and then go-live, Quickfire hasn’t let us down; our decision to work with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, was a good one,” said the COO of Betit, Henric Anderson.

Microgaming fans were also pleased to learn on December 13th that the company has spent the last two years working hard on a new online slot called Avalon ll: Quest for the Grail, although it will no doubt end up simply being called Avalon 2 by many players. This new online slot will make an appearance at ICE Totally Gaming 2014 in London.

Avalon 2: Quest for the Grail looks like it will be a sure hit with players and it looks far more advanced than the prequel. You can even view a video of this slot in the making right here.

The other story that we couldn’t forget to mention was about the lucky female gamer called Rachael who was playing at Spin Palace Mobile Casino when she landed the Progressive Jackpot which was worth just over €1.08 million on a slot called Mega Moolah.

“Two mega mobile jackpot wins on our HTML5 client in just four months truly indicates the growth of mobile gaming. So far this year, Mega Moolah has paid out over €171 million on mobile devices; that’s an astonishing amount! No doubt this number will increase year-on-year as more and more players look to play their favourite games on their mobile and tablet devices,” said the Head of Product Channels at Microgaming, Neill Whyte.
